Review: This is a very nice watch that comes "inside" the Daniel Wellington box. It's also a genuine (authentic) watch. I bought this from amazon.co.uk - "Dispatched and sold by Amazon (Prime)". Whilst it's always possible to buy from a "third party that's fulfilled by Amazon" I avoid this, especially for products which are known to be copied. When the third party supplies a product that fulfilled by Amazon it means they also supplied it and Amazon only act as the courier - think Royal Mail and junk mail! If you search the web there are many links to articles about fake Daniel Wellington watches and how to verify your watch is genuine. Does it have a serial number on the back (yes)? Previous versions didn't but the latest ones from Daniel Wellington do have a serial number - look at their website. A later watch is also better (think battery life). The info on the back is engraved (yes) and not printed. With the strap is DW engraved (yes) on the buckle and retained NATO strap (yes) and not and not printed (smooth). The shape of the crown is also unique and the edge of the movement is bevelled. Does the product come inside the box (yes) or is the box an accessory (no protection for transport and a giveaway too? Is there a tool in the box to change a leather strap (yes). The battery cover that's engraved is chrome plated (yes), unlike some copies. The watch really is beautifully made and there is nothing to be unhappy about. I like the NATO strap because it's also very light. It can also be cleaned unlike a leather strap which tends to wear quite quickly especially near the buckle. I would easily buy this again however I would suggest "doing the maths" before you buy. That's because if you think you will also want a leather strap e.g. York strap and you know you also want a NATO strap, then it's more cost effective to buy it with leather and add the NATO strap later. Of course changing the strap between NATO and leather is quite easy but I do wonder how often folks really do this after a few weeks. NATO straps are also easily changed - that's the fun part of ownership. Although the Daniel Wellington NATO straps are more expensive than some, they are well made so I think are worth the money too. So again, if you plan on buying two straps, consider which is best to buy first and also colour (rose gold vs silver) will match all potential straps. My final though is that a NATO strap is a really good option being lightweight and easily maintained. So I perhaps won't rush to buy a leather strap and more likely will add another NATO strap e.g. Warwick or Cambridge. The original "idea" for the watches came from seeing an old Rolex on a NATO strap. The shape of the lugs are ideally setup and the NATO strap is really comfortable too. You can't knock Amazon for trying, but the RRP they quote for watches and/or straps are more than the Daniel Wellington website that also has them post free. They do however have a very attractive price for the "real deal" and far better from the "Never knowingly undersold" shop/partnership - enjoy.

Review: The texture of of watchband is just so so, not as good as its original price. But for a product with big discount, it is actually acceptable. You'd better choose it as a decoration rather than your 'main watch', it is colorful, but not as good as other watches of the same price. However, it is named classic Oxford and I like it. I hope it can really bring me an offer to Oxford at the end of next month. XD
