Review: I bought this watch for the moonphase. There is a problem designers have . If they try to emulate the Hampton Court clock with numerous dials this usually results in dials cutting out the numeral 6. This watch does not do that. The dials by necessity are small but not that difficult to read. ( I wear spectacles ) There is a hand to show the week which can be mistaken for the minute hand. On the plus it looks good. Blue dial, white hands for contrast (cuckoo clock) non gawdy gilt case. One thing it changes the day at 10:00pm. I thought as it left a German manufacturer it must be an intentional reminder of what the next day is !! Having contacted the manufacturer, due to the movement this is common to other zeppelin watches of this type. It all changes in sequence. To allow the date to change at midnight the day changes first. The moonphase moves last. You are warned not to set up the watch or use the two quick change buttons during the hours around midnight. This is when the movement is changing the day, date and moonphase. Set up is not difficult. A protruding button will change the date. A recessed button the week which is shown by the hand with the crescent at the top. Wind the hands forward until the moon is in the middle of the window. The day is changed by winding the hands from 9:00pm through to 01:00am. To go to the next day repeat this exercise. Yes you can wind the hands back to 9:00pm and forward to 13:00 You find the date and day of the last full moon and set up the watch for that day and date. Set the week for that day and date too. Then wind on until the date is for the present day. Update : A year of use later I give it one more star. Accurate time keeper and moonphase movement. Update: 2018 last star awarded. It is still working. Update: 2020 still going.

Review: I love the watch, but it is very difficult to set the lunar phase on it - I would advise one to get a 'watch crown winder' tool...it will help with setting the lunar phase - and will really give your hands a relief! Aside from the positives, the only negative here I have is that the seconds hand almost all align, but there are a few that do not align entirely.
