Description: Buy the latest addition to the carbon core guard line-up: the GA-2100. This black timepiece embeds the latest carbon core guard technology in a slimmer more refined case. Taking inspiration from the 1983 original model, the DW-5000C, this watch pays homage to the much loved retro look with its unique octagonal bezel, framing an analogue-digital display. As with the GA-2000, the GA-2100 has an interchangeable resin strap for customisation with any outfit and occasion. Despite its deceptively compact design, this watch is as durable and tough as any G-SHOCK on offer with 200M water resistance and shock resistance. Don't miss out on this eye catching piece. Review: I chose this watch because I’m an aqua fitness instructor, I spend much of my time in the water, I can’t see normal watches without my glasses, and this is great, I’m able to keep track of time! Lightweight and comfortable too

Review: Nice looking watch but weighed less than I expected. I spent an hour or more trying to set up the watch using the manual!. I gave up and was considering sending it back but tried Youtube and there were numerous videos telling you how to set up. I would recommend you ignore the manual, totally hopeless, and go straight to Youtube, enter something like "Setting up Casio GA-2100 or G Shock GA-2100" and you will find informative and simple instructions on how to set up. I would point out that when you set up the time on the digital display the analogue hands automatically go to that time. This is not made clear in the manual. The digital display is not very legible unless you look at it in the right light(indoors and out of direct sunlight) and have good eyesight, I do not without my reading glasses but for £74ish I only want it for the analogue time which is very clear with the white hands and hour markings(there seem to be other colour combinations and I do not know how clear these would be). I have not yet tried to set up some of the other functions, I may or may not bother. The day display seems to have set up automatically and whilst small anyone with reasonable eyesight should be able to read it. The watch comes in a nice metal presentation box. I have only recently received this watch so my comments may need revising in time. One final point, the manual contains a disclaimer that the original battery may not last as long as claimed(three years) this may or may not matter to a prospective buyer.
